T22 is an all-in-one substation test set. It is a 5000VA tester. The outputs are 1000A AC, 400A DC, 2200V AC, 260V DC. T22 can be used to test power transformers, instrument transformers, circuit breakers, rotating machines, Grounding systems, transmission lines, and protection systems based on primary injection. With its web-based software, there is no need for software installation. You just need to use your cell phone and enjoy the test.
Why do you need the TDM module?
Defects in the insulation of high voltage equipment should be detected as soon as possible. These faults cause the equipment to fail, resulting in a loss of power and, at the next level, equipment. Therefore, the insulation of substation equipment should be checked on a regular basis. The well-known method for doing this is to measure what is known as the Dissipation Factor. The test equipment applies 10 kV and measures the loss of the insulation and the value of the capacitance. Both the dissipation factor and the capacitance change should be lower than the standard recommendations.
The TDM1 is the module for measuring the dissipation factor of the T22. The output voltage is 10 kV at 100 mA continuous current and 300 mA for 30 seconds.
